There are times that we will pick up rescue horses, or horses that the owner can no longer afford to own or horses that have no further use to their owners. These horses will be assessed by our in house trainer, brought current on all vaccinations, and started on a de-worming regimen before offering them for sale to the public. These horses are not a part of our breeding program, they just so happen to be fortunate enough to be found by us...Our goal is to get them healthy and find them homes that will maintain a healthy life style. With the economic outlook of today as well as the previous year's hay shortage, & extreme drought which resulted in the bottom dropping out of the horse market, we chose NOT to breed our mares for 2009 births. The drastic reduction in the prices of quality pedigreed horses allowed us to purchase several new additions, one of which was bred and the resulting foal is expected in late May or early June of 2009.
