Trail riding once again at the Moss Foundation.  Alice & her horse George, Kim & her horse Brandy, Nadja & her horse Dusty, James & his horse Von Whiz, & myself on my Izzy traveling the trails.  It was hot but it was nice under the trees.  They stayed on level ground just for me and I thank them all!  I even went solo for a bit...

All of the riders enjoyed the morning, even me!

Nadja & Dusty were navigating the hillsides.

Kim & Alice have become traveling companions, it's a good thing!

Nadja & Dusty, very relaxed...very at home on the trails.

Alice & George.  George is a pretty old guy, 27, I think!

Up the hill!

Kim & Brandy!

Plundering through a water feature...

Alice & George, looking really nice...

The 3 amigos, glad to be traveling once again...to the house!

Heading to Raven Rock State Park today!  To much up and down action for me, I am staying home this trip...Someone take pictures!

Okay, no one remembered the camera!  Which means NO PHOTOS!

Words will have to do!

They enjoyed the new trails at Raven Rock, raved about the waterfall and the little stream crossing, and I get to go next time!  The parking area is still small for horse trailers but the new trails are nice.  Mike Matthews and his mule Sampson, James with Von Whiz, and Nadja with Dusty, all met at the Food Lion parking lot in Dunn and headed to Raven Rock Park.  The old trails are still rough.  They all agreed the ride was nice and two of them are looking forward to getting me out there next week, OH BOY! I hope to have photos for you on the next trip!
