TRIPLE B TRAILS 4 Triple B Trails continue on, these pages will contain photos and little blog splats of our trail rides around our property and any others that we head out to...lots of photos, so long loading times... If you have any interesting places that you ride, please send a little blog splat to us via email and I will post it here along with a couple of photos! Where to now? Urwharrie? NO! At least not yet... September 26, 2009 We went riding around the house, along the open fields and through the pond. The weather was not real nice, it was breezy, even drizzly at times and just not the perfect riding day. Nadja & James were ready, I was not, but went any way. James took pictures on this trip, and a good job he did! Nadja rode Levi, I was on Izzy and James took Whizzer. We showed Nadja a sweet potato field and during the ride Izzy was acting goofy. I had to get tough with her and that is very unusual for her. Should have listened to my horse...
James took Whiz into the pond for a little training. That was no problem until he handed the camera bag off to me and I declined while Izzy danced around, so Nadja stepped up. Levi, for some reason wanted nothing to do with a blue bag swinging his way as well and Nadja had to get tough with him. Especially when James and Whizzer loped off. Our horses were ready to lope off with Whizzer and there was no way I was loping anywhere! It was time to call it a ride so we headed back to the house in the breeze with our "breezy mounts" to go another day...
A sad thing, it's been almost a month, work & chores have kept us all from riding not to mention the weather...Don't get me wrong, we ride at the house, there are always horses that need to be worked and things of that nature. On the very next day, a day full of sun...Whizzer got his fair share of riding at the house...
Between myself, David & Nadja he got a nice workout.
Even though it's nice...It's not the same as traveling a trail... Where to next? Our chores, horse shows and customers have to come first. I want to go back to Raven Rock and tackle the "RUSHING MAD RIVER STREAM" with Izzy... We will see.... |
