Zhips Dun Makin Waves, an APHA registered Painted Dun Tobiano 2007 stud colt. We call him Ollie Boy, for Oliver. Oliver has expressed a great willingness to learn, and shows intelligence in his training. These pictures were taken in April 07 at 24 hours old.
We have no doubt about his athleticism, he comes from working performance horses, and his manner is loving, even though he is so young. The pictures below were taken in July of 07 at the age of 2 and 3 months.
I introduced my grandson to a little horse. As you can tell from this picture, the foal had never seen a little human, and the little human had never seen a little horse...
Oliver is out of AKS Rip Tide, shown below, and Zhip Me Bay Bee, shown below as well. He comes from great lines, not to mention great looking parents, and he is one of our standing stallions at Triple B's Stallion Station!
Zhips Dun Makin Waves, he sure has a lot to live up to... 2010 - Ollie is broke to ride, and quite the 3 year old brat, affectionately called. Shown below, he's just gorgeous...
APHA Registered Painted Dun, DOUBLE HOMOZYGOUS for the Tobiano gene as well as the Black gene. He carries the Dun Dilution gene and he will never produce a sorrel or red based foal BUT will always produce a painted foal! A well mannered yearling (Jan - 2008) at the moment, shown below with a picture of his sire, NRHA performer / APHA Registered AKS Rip Tide, you can say they look quite a lot alike... so far, they act alike. We hope that stays true. Rip is such an easy going stallion. I used to visit with him as much as I could during the weekends when he was in the USA. I would hang out in his stall and you would never have guessed he was a stallion, more like a big lap dog...
He likes to play, his favorite toy is the jolly ball, though his feed barrel ranks right up there. His dam, Zhip Me Bay Bee is a glorious girl, built like a tank and as soft as melted butter, she spins on a dime and floats like a cloud. We hope that our Ollie is a carbon copy of his sire and dam. Every contact I have made with regards to a Rip Tide foal have given me the conclusion that Rip produces calm intelligent babies, mix that with his fantastic appearance, throw in Zhip's beautiful self and her disposition and you have a winning combination! Rip and Zhip, helping us to meet our goal: APHA Performance Foals at Triple B Horses, breeding Intelligent Minds & Beautiful Bodies for you to work with, train & enjoy...
Ollie is growing into a fine looking boy, this picture below was taken in August of 2008.
Ollie as he was going to the trainers...an up & coming two year old, & a uniquely bred colt...
As I left him at Alan Fisher Performance Horses to start his training, January 10, 2009. As he progresses I will post photos.
Double Homozygous: Both the Tobiano & Black genes, As well as carrying the Dun dilution gene, with APHA Legends, Hall of Fame Inductees to Numerous Champions in his pedigree, our stallion, has got it all! Look how he has grown! He is becoming quite the 2 year old...looks to die for and his manner, spectacular! I put him in the wash bay, bathed, cut, brushed, combed, sprayed, conditioned and just aggravated the dickens out of him and not a word, not a mean moment to be had...July 09
Aug 22, & Ollie had a mishap at the trainers, like most horses do for some reason or another...I tell myself everyday, IT WILL GROW BACK!
It will grow back... Triple B Stud - 2007 Double Homozygous for the Tobiano & Black genes & carrying the Dun Dilution gene, a Painted Zebra Dun Tobiano with Black points, and registered with the APHA.
Pictured April 2011, Ollie has indeed matured! Now available for breeding. His stud fee is $250, with a LCFG. He will not produce a sorrel baby! Our Colored Foal Guarantee - No RED babies and always a baby splashed with white, or carring the Dun Dilution.
