APHA Friscos Awago
A 9 year old (2001) black & white Homozygous Tobiano mare, she will always produce a painted foal! Frisco has awesome bloodlines from Hall of Famers to Grand Champions in both the AQHA and APHA. She is a very pleasant girl, with wonderful color and a great mind.
Frisco is a gentle soul with a soft eye and a willing attitude. Her first foal seems to have the same willingness. Shown below is her very first foal out of AKS Rip Tide, a 2008 Dun filly named QTs Dun N Awawego...
Frisco put her Tobiano pattern on her foal and gave her the same cute face... With her lines she will be a wonderful addition to any band of mares and we are looking forward to her continued ability as a trail mount. She is absolutely one of the calmest girls I have seen in a while. She will step on things and not even flinch...her mind is better than we thought. She seems to have passed this to her offspring as well as that wonderful Tobiano pattern! Frisco has quite a bit of scar tissue built up on her rear leg. Before her purchase, our vet evaluated the area and determined that it was more a cosmetic injury than anything else. She does not favor the leg and the more time spent under saddle confirms that the area does her no harm. We were told that she aquired the injury, she appeared to have gotten kicked mid cannon, in a pasture at a previous boarding facility and the wound was never tended while it healed. Frisco is for sale, we are asking $2000.00 for her. |
