SOLD! Plum was sold in August of 2011 and we will miss this cantankerous girl! AQHA, Plum Gotcha! A 1994 great looking girl and an Impressive bred mare displaying the fabulous conformation made famous by her G G Sire, Impressive! She is HYPP / NN, so no worries when breeding her. Plum is enrolled in the Incentive Fund with the AQHA. The family that bred her told me that she was broke as a 3 year old, but we have never put a saddle on her. She does not like the winters and will require blanketing. She leads, loads, ties, grooms and stands for the farrier. .
Plum is a Grey gene dominant mare with lovely plum colored spots and will always produce grey foals, no matter how she is bred. Her foals might be born with colored manes and tails depending on the homozygosity of the sire she is bred to. She is out of the King line on the bottom, Impressive on the top. Her lines include many, many champions in various disciplines. She is an intelligent girl who has been to pasture for a few years and looks it, she is just a bit soft...
She has started to fatten up.
